Description:Position Summary: We are looking for a forward-thinking
User Experience (UX) Designer with a strong eye for modern UI &
visual design, a passion for innovation, and the ability to rapidly
prototype and iterate. You will collaborate with stakeholders to
design intuitive, visually compelling experiences while considering
how AI and emerging technologies can enhance user interactions
where appropriate. While AI is an important part of our strategic
direction, this role will also involve projects that focus purely
on traditional UX/UI best practices. The ideal candidate is not
afraid to experiment, challenges the status quo, and thrives in a
fast-paced environment where design decisions are made quickly and
iterated upon frequently.Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
- Design modern, aesthetically refined, and highly usable
interfaces, ensuring clarity and ease of use.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs using Figma
(preferred) or Sketch, incorporating stakeholder feedback early and
often.
- Identify opportunities for AI-enhanced user experiences while
ensuring that the integration of AI is thoughtful, seamless, and of
significant value.
- Develop high-fidelity User Interface (UI) mockups and
interactive prototypes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a
strong visual hierarchy throughout.
- Conduct usability tests and iterate based on real-world
feedback, using both traditional and AI-driven insights where
applicable.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to bring designs
to life while balancing feasibility, scalability, and design
integrity.
- Present and defend design decisions clearly and professionally,
ensuring alignment with business and user needs.
- Drive innovative, problem-solving design approaches to create a
superior user experience and challenge outdated norms.
- Remain up to date on UX and AI advancements, integrating the
latest best practices where they align with user and business
needs.
- Ensure traditional design principles remain central and
recognize when and how to leverage AI to enhance UX.Job
Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in UX, UI, HCI, or
other related fields.
- Five (5) years of UX/UI experience, with a strong portfolio
showcasing modern interface design and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) and Sketch for vector-based
UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Webflow (preferred) and other no-code design
tools for rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS; the ability to spot front-end
issues and apply logical reasoning to resolve.
- Proficient in creating vector-based UI/UX designs.
- Experience with no-code design tools for use in
prototyping.
- Understanding of when and how AI can enhance UX, while ensuring
traditional design principles remain central.
- Ability to challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas to the
table, and iterate rapidly.
- Willingness to take on small, mundane tasks when necessary to
build foundational knowledge before tackling larger
initiatives.
- Strong innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to defend
design decisions with confidence.Physical Demands and Work
