Accounts Payable Supervisor - $85,000/yearWe are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the AP operations of our client's company. This role involves managing a large volume of payables across various Yardi systems. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to AP management, lead a team, and drive process improvements. We need a proactive self-starter who can work independently to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the AP function.What the Job Offers:

  • Manage all accounts payable activities, including invoice handling and vendor coordination, utilizing Yardi Voyager 7, Yardi Payscan, and Predict AP
  • Supervise and provide training for one team member, with the potential to expand the team in the future
  • Review AP workflows daily to ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved, and processed on time
  • Oversee weekly payment processes, including check runs, EFT file submissions, and manual check handling
  • Handle real estate tax payments, ensuring timely submission, approval, and processing of tax bills
  • Develop and maintain AP policies, procedures, and monthly reports to track performance and efficiency
  • Complete key tasks such as voids, stop payments, check reissues, and preparation of 1099 forms promptlyQualifications:
    • 3 - 6+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
    • Proven ability to independently manage AP functions and workflows without close supervision
    • Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager 7 and Yardi Payscan
    • Background in real estate, property management, or a similar industry is a plus
    • Exposure to AI-based AP tools, such as Predict AP preferred
