Job Description:

Location: Boston, MA, Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NCJob Description:

8-10 years of experience in IT as a DBA
Client is looking for consultants who have some exposure to PostgreSQL (it is more similar to Oracle than MySQL)
Need good SQL background and some automation work (like a developer/architect mindset).
Performing development & production database administration with automated scripts for security & audits, export/import data.
Ability to import, export data with ETL developers; knowledge of one ETL tool preferred.
Mandatory knowledge of Git, merges & source control procedures.
Strong scripting background (PowerShell/Shell etc.)
Effective and strong communication skills to engage with Security, Architecture & global teams.
Strong PostgreSQL administration skills + other databases on Unix Admin skills.
Database administration skills on Azure Cloud is preferred.
