SUMMARY The Quality Engineer will leverage your technical expertise
and knowledge of quality assurance to help drive continuous
improvement in a collaborative environment which foster team
growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

- Collaborate with department managers as needed to provide
technical support for quality-related issues, conduct detailed root
cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Represent Quality when working cross functionally with
manufacturing engineers, production teams, other departments, and
senior management to implement best practices, participate in
procedure updates, and ensure quality standards are being
followed.
- Creating CMM programs ensuring they run properly and provide
accurate reports. Providing guidance and mentorship to the Quality
Technician as it relates to running programs and learning the
system.
- Participate in addressing noncompliance and nonconformance
issues, writing nonconformance reports and performing root cause
analysis. Where possible implementing corrective actions or
proposing corrective actions to department heads. Ensure corrective
actions are implemented effectively. Contribute in monthly MRB
meetings and FAI reviews.
- Enter and monitor customer complaints, assist with documenting
the problem and ensuring the customers needs have been met. Work
with Sales and Service when to customer equipment needs to be
returned and/or a replacement needs to be ordered.
- Work with Quality Technician and Manufacturing Engineers to
create inspection plans for incoming material.
- Stay current with new inspection technologies and techniques
and recommend improvements to the inspection process.
- Assist in overseeing supplier quality management, working with
suppliers when corrective actions need to be taken and ensuring
their compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Support calibration process, running reports and preparing
items to be calibrated either internally or by a third-party.
Update calibration records ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Schedule and participate in internal and third-party audits as
necessary. Audits include PED/ATEX/3A and ISO 9001. Review reports,
generate corrective actions and follow through with
implementation.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an

- At least 5 years quality engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with inspection techniques, including
CMM inspection
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard
- Proven communication skills with the ability to teach
others
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Manufacturing
engineering and PED/ATEX/3A compliance knowledgeDisclaimer:The
