Volt is immediately hiring QA Inspector in Wilmington, MA

Description:
Use of Common measuring devices-Caliper, radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deuteronic pins, Vision System
Sitting for long periods of time conducting inspection processes and working in a team environment
Experience with all measuring devices required.


Minimum qualifications
Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to the below referenced workmanship standards
Experience with engineering drawings- review and interpretation
Familiarity with common measuring devices - Caliper, Radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deuteronic pins , Vision System
High attention to detail
Able to sit for long periods of time.
Team player and strong communication skills
Experience creating non-conformances


Preferred qualifications
Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and work with cross functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Word experience
Ability to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company procedures.
Experience inspecting to IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and/or NASA 8739.4.
Experience with GD&T ( Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing)


This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
