And that's the kind of work we want to be part of.Job Summary:The Associate Scientist's core responsibilities involve molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and protein characterization techniques. The role will involve working on multiple customer projects. As part of your role, good record keeping, understanding of regulatory requirements, and skilled presentation of data will be essential. The role will involve the execution and documentation of work to regulatory required standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Vector Constructions, express and purify encoded proteins using platform mammalian expression system according to strict SOPs.
• Perform a range of purification techniques for the purification of protein.
• Perform a range of analytical assays for protein characterization.
• Prepare high-quality reports and data summaries.
• Perform lab and area inspections to maintain high levels of quality and safety. Contribute to lab cleaning rota and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Effectively communicate with external customers and internal stakeholders across departments and sites.Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology and relevant experience in an industrial lab environment.
• 0-2 years of molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and protein characterization in a lab setting and/or academia.
• A team player able to share knowledge with others and actively participate and lead scientific discussions with other members of the team and collaborators.
• Able to work independently and diligently to an established plan, prioritize, and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with good communication and attention to detail essential.
