Renewable Project DeveloperA leading developer and operator of distributed solar and energy storage systems in the Northeast is seeking a Renewable Project Developer.Role Overview:

• Manage all aspects of project development from origination to NTP.
• Identify new opportunities and assess project viability.
• Secure site control, interconnection, off-take, and permits.
• Communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and develop renewable energy projects.
  • Evaluate potential sites considering environmental, technical, and regulatory factors.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and secure necessary permits.
  • Collaborate with utility and engineering teams for interconnection agreements.
  • Support financial due diligence and project financing.Candidate Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in solar/energy storage development.
    • Strong communication and project management skills.
    • Knowledgeable in permitting, land acquisition, interconnection, and regulatory processes.
    • Self-driven, motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
