Technology Governance Program ManagerWho we are looking forOur
team, Technology Governance and Program Management, provides
structured governance and program execution while supporting
business, technology transformation and regulatory commitments.

our values. We are seeking a Technology Governance Program Manager
to join the team. In this role, you will focus on maintaining
lightweight processes and continual improvements while optimizing
and accelerating execution.While the Technology Governance Program
Manager is an individual contributor, it is a highly collaborative
role, and you will work with various stakeholders to deliver
value-added enterprise program management. The successful candidate
is a problem solver who understands the details and is involved in
the design and implementation of scalable solutions that integrate
process, technology, and organizational change. You understand risk
frameworks, control environments, data management requirements and
have analytical, strategic thinking, organizational and
communication skills. You are responsible for bringing transparency
to how our most crucial and complex projects (spanning technical
teams, domains, and products) intersect and sequence. You'll
coordinate cross-organizational dependencies and priorities, and
help teams deliver and become more efficient. You can demonstrate
your leadership abilities by driving decision-making and building
strong relationships across the organization.What you will be
responsible for
- Break down projects into component parts, identifying and
tracking dependencies and opportunities for optimization;
proactively identify problems and recommend solutions before they
become blockers.
- Create and refine processes when necessary; maintain focus on
reliability and continual improvements, automation, and
scaling.
- Identify KPIs and success metrics, collect and analyze data;
make information visible to stakeholders.
- Communicate goals, status, risks, and impact to teams and
stakeholders; you are able to adapt communications to any
level.
- Develop correlation of project objectives with measurable
goals, roadmaps, and execution plans.
- Work with teams to clarify goals and deliverables; bring data
to planning and prioritization.
- Facilitate communication to stakeholders / management across
levels.
- Use data and analytical skills to conduct assessments,
utilizing data management metrics and insights to influence in a
compelling, action-oriented manner.
- Leverage excellent verbal and written communication skills to
clearly articulate risk and issues and progress against mitigating
risk and issues.
- Oversee projects in a matrixed-style environment while being an

management; establish clear responsibilities with various partner
teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in financial services, consulting, or a
related industry.
- Track record of successfully driving and delivering complex and
impactful change programs.
- You have experience in technical program management in a
dynamic and highly technical environment, a strong track record in
managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of investment management
products and asset types.
- Experience in business process analysis, design, and
implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with
virtual teams.
- Management Consulting experience a plus.
- Knowledge of JIRA a plus.About State Street
