About the Role:

As a Senior Cost Manager, Life Sciences you will oversee multiple multi-disciplined commercial real estate solutions for large and high-profile Life Sciences clients.

This job is part of the Building Consultancy function. They are responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Cost Management for multiple Life Sciences commercial real estate projects, ensuring budget accuracy, risk mitigation, and financial efficiency.
  • Assess complex project scopes and client needs to develop and present recommended budgets for necessary pre-bid and pre-construction cost estimating and cost planning services.
  • Partner with large project teams to source and oversee the pre-bid and pre-construction services associated with the development of a project budget and cost plan.
  • Manage Procurement & Vendor Contracts, including tendering, bid leveling, and landlord contribution negotiations.
  • Oversee Financial Reporting & Cost Control, providing monthly and quarterly reports, KPIs, and variance analyses.
  • Align Cost Plans with Project Schedules, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and project accruals.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    What You'll Need:

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

    --- Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent experience in cost management, finance, or related fields).

    --- Minimum eight years of experience in cost management, project controls, and financial planning for real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.

    --- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Power BI, and SAP for cost modeling and reporting.

    --- Strong analytical skills with expertise in budget forecasting, financial audits, and procurement strategy.

    --- Ability to manage complex, multi-million-dollar budgets and align cost plans with corporate financial policies.

    --- Experience in stakeholder engagement, working with landlords, project teams, and senior leadership.

    --- Fluency in English and professional proficiency in Spanish (preferred for global project coordination).

The minimum salary for this position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
