Job Description:
As a Director of Analytics at EF World Journeys, you will
partner closely with stakeholders to deeply understand our business
drivers and help with planning, forecasting, and goal setting. You
will be a crucial member of the World Journeys Analytics
organization, collaborating with leaders across sales, service,
finance, revenue management, and other teams. Your expertise in at
least one of these areas, combined with your broad analytical
skills and deep curiosity, will enable you to impact World
Journeys' growth and enhance our customers' experience.What you'll
do:
- Partner with leaders to answer World Journeys' toughest
business questions with insights backed by robust analysis, driving
actionable outcomes.
- Combine strong analytical skills and business judgement to
understand drivers of business performance and produce better
forecasts, plans, and goals across multiple functions.
- Communicate complex analyses in simple, relevant terms to a
range of audiences - contributing to better cross-functional
decision-making and business outcomes.
- Design, build, and own business intelligence tools and models
that help business users make better decisions faster.
- Leverage your technical skills to get hands-on with our data
and build robust models - you combine strong spreadsheet modeling
skills, SQL knowledge, and data visualization experience (we use
Tableau).
- Build and lead a strong team, attracting top talent and
developing existing talent within the organization.Who you are:
- 10+ years of professional experience in high-visibility,
analytical roles. This might include a mix of analytics,
analytically-focused business operations / revenue operations, or
consulting roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in high-growth
organizations, including recruiting and developing diverse,
high-performing teams.
- Reputation as a thoughtful, transparent communicator and
collaborative teammate.
- Proven track record of leading teams that thrive in dynamic,
fast-paced environments.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and a commitment to
continuous growth.
- Demonstrate an action-orientated approach in your day-to-day
