Position Overview

Clean Harbors is seeking an EPM Lead with 8+ years of experience working with Oracle EPM. The role involves leading cross functional discussions at various levels with client business users to analyze requirements, brainstorm, and articulate solutions and recommend industry best practices to stakeholders. This role is responsible for documenting a gap analysis against standard Oracle functional flows and providing a solution using both standard and customized solutions. The role will document, configure, and test the solution as post go-live support.

Responsibilities

  • Clear understanding of the implementation life cycle using Oracle Cloud

    Work with business to develop and document business solutions, ensuring that business requirements are met

    • Create design and configuration documentation for modules being implemented
    • Configure Oracle EPM modules based on design requirements
    • Actively contribute to established implementation methodology around RAID logs and any other methods to document risks, actions, issues, and dependencies for the overall project
    • Help solution, document and test technical enhancements to Cloud including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows (RICEW)
    • Prepare training materials and work instructions to help teach and jointly test the delivered solutions
    • Prepare and present updates and other presentation materials to internal teams, client teams and executive leadership

      Leadership Duties

      • Act in a functional lead capacity, responsible for implementing multiple Oracle Cloud modules

        Provide thought leadership around industry leading practices for improving operational efficiencies and profitability of business

        Encourage teamwork and positive working relationships within the project team members

        Qualifications

        • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Technology

          8+ years progressive experience in a consulting environment or related industry experience working directly with Oracle EPM products

          • 5+ Experience with business processes around and in implementing the following Oracle Cloud modules: Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS), FCCS, ARCS, TRCS
          • Technical background with hands-on experience in Hyperion planning, Essbase cube build using PBCS and data management to build metadata and data load
          • Extensive experience in developing the PBCS calculation scripts in/building load rules, data management, build metadata and identity manager
          • Clear understanding of EPM Automator and ASO cubes

            Identify and implement process improvements to support more efficient financial analysis

            • Oracle certification in EPM modules and/or willingness to get certification in next 6 months preferred
            • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems, processes, and financial reporting practices
            • Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a can-do approach.
            • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments in a fast-paced environment
            • Interact effectively with team and with clients through in person meetings, chat, email, phone, and video conferencing as appropriate
            • Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong analytical skills
            • Resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project managers and executive management as appropriate
            • Demonstrate high level computer skills and knowledge in Office 365 environment including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, and SharePoint
