searching for the best talent for a Sr. Engineer, R&D Product
Security position, to be located in Boston, MA. Remote work options
may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the
Company.You will be responsible for:You will function as the
Product Security domain authority in day-to-day R&D product
development projects. Your expertise will help drive R&D
Product Security strategy as it applies to the product team and
ensure appropriate priority placed on the development of security
work.We define success by our ability to build positive
relationships and collaborations with multiple team members
including hardware/system/software partners, quality, and
Enterprise Product Security. Your partnership with other
engineering SMEs is needed to ensure compliance with internal
design controls and medical device regulations and
standards.Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or security, or similar
degree required.
- 5+ years of IT or Cybersecurity experience required.
- Threat modeling & analysis.
- Data privacy protection.
- Understanding of penetration testing, vulnerability scanning,
CVSS and/or other general security testing principles.
- Ability to define security requirements.
- Experience with web applications and server hardening (i.e.
AWS, Azure) including knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and blue teaming
techniques.Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of traditional and real-time operating systems (i.e.
QNX, Windows Embedded) hardening techniques is preferred.
- Experience with regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST SP800, IEC
62304, ISO 14971, FDA guidance on Pre/Post Market Cybersecurity,
Cybersecurity risk assessment frameworks and other FDA guidelines
is preferred.Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.The anticipated base
pay range for this position is $89,000 to $143,750. California Bay
Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is $121,000
to $194,350.The Company maintains highly competitive,
performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines,
this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in
accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual
performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive
to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and
the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual
basis.Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to
participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit
programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and
long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal
insurance.Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's
consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan
(401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company's

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per
calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar
