Job Title: Lead Consultant - Data Discovery and AccessCareer
Level - EIntroduction to roleWe are recruiting for a Lead
Consultant for the Metadata Discovery and Access Team. This
full-time Grade E role is based at our GITC site in Chennai. As
part of AstraZeneca's Information and Data Enablement (IDE)
capability, we are seeking a senior engineer for our metadata
discovery workstream. The lead will work closely with the POs and
the leads of the development teams across the workstream to support
our build requirements. This means accountability for uninterrupted
service delivery to our data marketplace users.Accountabilities:You
will need a collaborative delivery approach to be successful. We
use Scaled Agile with standard-length program increments (12-14

applicants.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Hands-on exposure to Collibra platform, user interfaces, APIs,
data models, and workflows.
- Good engineering background to understand the metadata tech
stack (Asset model creation, Org structure creation, User access
and permissions mapping etc).
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, S3, Databricks and
understanding of Datalake.
- Hands-on experience in integration tech such as Snaplogic and
Mulesoft.
- Strong Datawarehousing background.
- Hands-on experience of engineering best practices including
CICD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure.
- Liaison with DevOps and Platform Success teams to plan and
execute Continuous Service Improvements.
- Assist in requirement analysis, effort estimation and
solution/technical design for enhancements.
- Focus on innovation and continuous improvement to simplifying
tech for customers.
- Ensure delivery of services focusing on automation, reuse, and
standardized platforms. Ensure we partner with vendors to resolve
issues/requests on priority.Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or
equivalent experience.
- 12+ years experience in IT and minimum 3 years hands-on
experience in Collibra or similar data governance platforms.
- Proven experience of supporting multiple tech stacks and
ensuring uninterrupted platform support.
- Exposure to tools like BigID, Immuta are good to have.
- Proven experience of innovation, Lean and agile delivery
methodologies. Experience with implementing these methodologies to
enhance efficiency and drive project success.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate
with senior stakeholders across IT & business.
- Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and
