Job Description:
Join us in this role where you'll have the opportunity to work
closely with our various commercial, technical, QHSE, and
stakeholder teams to support development and implementation of the
construction compliance program.Welcome to North America PEMA
(Permitting, Environmental and Marine Affairs)You'll be part of the
Permitting and Environmental Compliance team where you, together
with your colleagues, will be responsible for driving permitting
compliance program success and ensuring that our offshore wind
projects are constructed. You will be part of a large PEMA team,
which consists of offshore and onshore permitting, marine affairs,
compliance (offshore and onshore), spanning from the developmental,
construction and operational phases of projects. As a team, we are
growing and evolving and are looking to add a bright, ambitious,
honest and caring person to our offshore compliance group.You'll
play an important role in:
- Supporting the Offshore Wind Construction Compliance Managers
for Revolution Wind (REV) and Sunrise Wind (SRW) with the
implementation of the construction compliance program.
- Supporting the implementation of environmental training modules
for REV and SRW to ensure compliance with permitting conditions,
regulations, Orsted processes and policies, and industry best
practices.
- Updating the Regulatory Compliance Database (RCD) and
Compliance Management Tool (CMT) to ensure all permit conditions
are appropriately tracked and compliance documented as needed.
- Assisting REV and SRW in the creation and submittal of required
regulatory reports, notifications, and other submissions to
regulatory agencies as needed.
- Assisting REV and SRW in the development and updating of
various construction Contractor Compliance
guidebooks/procedures.
- Supporting REV and SRW in the development and use of compliance
tracking tools, inspection forms, audit checklists, and all other
pertinent documentation.To succeed in the role, you:
- Have a bachelor or graduate degree in a related field from an
accredited university.
- Have related experience in any offshore or large-scale
infrastructure projects; experience working with technical teams
(engineering, construction, operations) in large projects is
desirable.
- Have experience successfully supporting compliance deliverables
across multiple projects, which is ideal for this position.
- Have experience with federal, state, and local permitting
processes related to offshore wind and/or large infrastructure
projects and solid understanding of the concerns of key
decision-makers, policymakers, federal and state authorities.
- Have knowledge of various federal, state, and local
environmental regulations applicable to offshore wind and/or large
infrastructure projects.
- Have good working relationships with federal and state
permitting and compliance background, which is highly
