  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management / logistics or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19011:2018 standards.
  • Certified Quality Auditor.
  • Expertise in project management, planning, and execution.
  • Proficient in quality auditing tools (e.g., control charts) and methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing quality programs in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable).
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings across all organizational levels in diverse environments.Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Power BI.
    • Effective influencing skills and the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
    • Capable of working independently and as part of a diverse team of quality professionals.Key Accountabilities (Essential Job Duties):
      • Demonstrates understanding and adheres to the KCS principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Security, and Economic Performance.Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance:
        • Own the QMS and ensure contractual compliance for Procurement and KCS corporate processes.
        • Act as the ISO 9001 subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with standard requirements.
        • Apply lean management principles to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
        • Collaborate with key managers to enhance the department's QMS and oversee improvement initiatives.
        • Support the department in building and maintaining risk registers.
        • Ensure compliance with KCS-MBTA contract requirements.Travel Required: Yes, up to 15% of the working time.Additional Statements:
          • Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination.
