About the Role:As a Retail Cafe Team Member in the retail bakery industry, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional service that enhances their shopping experience. You will be tasked with managing transactions accurately while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires you to problem-solve independently, ensuring that any customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving the success of our retail operations.Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of retail sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.Responsibilities:
    • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
    • Prepare and package all bread, pastry, beverages ordered.
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
    • Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring all products are displayed properly.
    • Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers.Skills:The required skills for this position are essential for daily interactions with customers and team members. Being people and relationship-driven allows you to build rapport and trust with customers, enhancing their overall experience. Effective communication is crucial as you will need to convey information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Attention to detail is vital when processing transactions and managing inventory, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work. Additionally, your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will enable you to handle various responsibilities simultaneously, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.
      Must be available for 3 - 4 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
      Shifts will be approximately 4 - 5 hours each.
