entrepreneurial individual to join our investment team as a Venture
Capital Associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a
key role in deal sourcing, due diligence, investment execution, and
portfolio support, while working closely with industry leaders,
startup founders, and co-investors.The RoleAs a Venture Capital
Associate, you will drive investment decisions and help shape the
future of our portfolio. You will analyze new investment
opportunities, conduct market research, and collaborate with
entrepreneurs to build category-defining companies. This role
requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a
passion for startups, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Market Research
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, including
meeting with startup founders and industry leaders.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging
technologies, and investment opportunities.
- Develop investment themes and theses to guide fund strategy and
deployment.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including
entrepreneurs, co-investors, and ecosystem partners.Investment Due
Diligence & Execution
- Lead due diligence processes, including market sizing,
competitive landscape analysis, financial modeling, and
valuation.
- Analyze company performance, unit economics, and business
models to assess investment potential.
- Work closely with internal and external experts to validate
investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment memos and present findings to the investment
committee.Portfolio Support & Value Creation
- Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives,
including go-to-market strategies, business development, and
fundraising.
- Organize and leverage fund resources, industry networks, and
mentors to accelerate portfolio growth.
- Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and startup
demo days.QualificationsQualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity,
investment banking, management consulting, corporate development,
or product management in a high-growth technology company.
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution; MBA is
preferred but not required.
- Strong financial modeling, market research, and business
strategy skills.
- Deep interest in startups, technology, and venture investment
with a demonstrated ability to navigate emerging sectors.
- Excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal communication
skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured, and
entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated experience or interest in construction,
architecture, engineering, and real estate, or sustainability and
