Job Description:
KeyLogic is actively seeking a Data Architect to design, develop
and implement the data architecture for the Kessel Run program.
This also includes working with stakeholders to understand their
needs, designing and implementing data models, and developing and
maintaining data pipelines. The Data Architect will also be
responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the data
architecture. This is an on-site role.Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs -
researches and provides solutions to meet future growth or to
eliminate occurring or potential limiting factors that could
negatively impact the Kessel Run portfolio, and to identify
technical solutions that could aid in the efficiency and/or
cohesiveness of the broader engineering teams and Kessel Run
portfolio
- Design and implement data models
- Develop and maintain data pipelines in on-premises and in AWS
cloud environments
- Ensure the security and compliance of the data architecture in
on-premises and in AWS cloud environments
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies
- Work with a team of engineers and architects to deliver
high-quality solutionsDesired Skills:
- Familiarity with the manipulation of unstructured data in a
data analytics environment, and the use of open-source tools, cloud
computing, machine learning and data visualization as
applicable.
- The ability to use/code in a language applicable to the project
or task order such as Apache Hadoop, Python, and advanced knowledge
of machine learning.
Experience in building and maintaining of an enterprise data
model
- Experience in implementing data pipelines using ETL and ELT
technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Nifi
- Experienced in data architecture and management tools such as
ER/Studio, Alation, and DataHub
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data
analytics
- Experience with cloud computing platforms
- Experience with security and complianceQualifications:
- US Citizenship Required
- Able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or
a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture
- Data Architect certifications such as CDMP, etc., are a
plus
- AWS Cloud certifications are a plusSalary: 175-185K
