are Quantis.As a Sustainability Expert - Fashion & Sporting Goods
in our US branch, you will support the delivery of high-quality
consulting services for our clients, with a focus on providing
expert-level guidance, a strategic and systematic view to
sustainability strategies, and provide thought leadership on
science-based solutions for the environmental priorities of the
Fashion and Sporting Goods Sector. Does this describe you and your
next role?High-Level Summary:We are looking for technical project
manager experience, with the ability to flex between deep
analytical and broader project-landscape and strategic capacities.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product LCA
and corporate GHG accounting methodologies and their application in
evaluating the environmental impacts of products and value chains
to drive strategic decision making.Going Deeper:

consultant, a sharp scientific analyst looking for a big
opportunity to work with top sustainability leaders and
experts.
- You have experience working across multiple workstreams in the
fashion industry, including sustainability assessments related to
innovative raw materials, logistics, and manufacturing.
Knowledge/proficiency in Higg MSI and Higg FEM is preferred.
- You have demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and mentor
others with your knowledge and skills.
- You have the ability and affinity for supporting and managing
multiple projects simultaneously.
- You get excited about guiding global companies to understand
and improve their environmental performance and collaborate on
deploying actions to drive change in their organizations as well as
to communicate credibly on their efforts.
- You're a team player that works quickly, independently and on
schedule. You know how to structure your own work and build
relationships with teammates and clients.
- For 5+ years, you've been sharpening your greenhouse gas
accounting and/or LCA skills in a consulting or industry context.
Your deep expertise combines a strategic mindset with technical
knowledge.
- You have strong experience with LCA and GHG modeling, using
multiple tools, including SimaPro. Knowledge of digital carbon
accounting tools is a plus.
- You have worked with digital visualization software and are
interested in learning more about how to use new digital tools in
your day-to-day work.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental
science or similar discipline. A Master's or PhD degree involving
significant conceptual and practical use of LCA is appreciated, but
not required.
- You have strong general quantitative and qualitative analytical
skills.
- You have a thorough understanding of sustainability topics,
services, and market needs relevant to Quantis.As a Sustainability
Expert here's a preview of what type of work your days will
include:
- Client project support: Using LCA and corporate GHG-accounting
expertise to guide strategic engagements such as supply chain
impact reduction initiatives, custom data strategies, and
innovation investment decision making.
- Direct client project work: Performing analytical role or
project lead/project manager role and other types of client
projects. This includes:
- Performing corporate GHG modeling or other analytical work, or
project lead/project management role.
- Performing LCA modeling or other analytical work, or project
lead/project management role.
- Supporting/managing client interactions, such as project
meetings/calls, etc.
- Developing or supporting development of interim and final
client deliverables, including generating insights, recommendations
and strategic implications.
- Thought leadership: Developing and sharing Quantis'
point-of-view on the evolution of LCA and corporate GHG topics and
trends, particularly as it relates to the operationalization of
sustainable transformation.
- Training: Identifying needs, developing and delivering internal
and/or client-facing training on key footprinting topics.To thrive

- Optimal Start Date: As soon as possible.
- Location: Remote (office located in Boston). You'll have the
possibility to work collaboratively in the Boston office as needed
as well as to regularly meet your colleagues on team retreats.
- Frequent collaboration with other Quantis branches
(Switzerland, France, Germany, and Italy) via web-conferences.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed (Quantis has a
distinctive, fluid structure nurtured by our Quantis Spirit and our
way of collaborating, that, in combination with our paid time off
and other benefits, provides a positive and unique working
environment. Salary will be determined based on potential for
contribution to the organization's success. The compensation target
for this role ranges from $115,000/year - $118,000/year.Quantis is
