Machine Learning Research Scientist - AI Solutions
Location: United States (Remote Flexibility)
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 + BenefitsA cutting-edge AI technology company is seeking a Machine Learning Research Scientist to lead the development of advanced AI models for document understanding, natural language processing, and computer vision. This role focuses on solving complex challenges and integrating AI tools into enterprise and government workflows, contributing to transformative solutions across industries.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on research and experimentation in machine learning to develop innovative algorithms and methodologies.
• Design, implement, and fine-tune machine learning models to tackle specific business challenges.
• Evaluate model performance, benchmark against competitors, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into scalable, production-ready systems.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI, publishing research findings and contributing to thought leadership.
• Create white papers, blog posts, and other materials to showcase research and results.Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven expertise in fine-tuning and building LLMs.
  • Proficiency with Transformer architectures, Hugging Face, Python, and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience deploying deep learning or LLM-based models for real-world applications.
  • Strong understanding of optimization techniques, evaluation metrics, and large-scale data processing tools (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Demonstrated track record of impactful machine learning research, including publications in top-tier conferences or journals.Preferred Skills:
    • Knowledge of C++ and CUDA.
    • Experience with MLOps practices and model lifecycle development automation.
    • Startup experience and document interpretation expertise.Compensation & Benefits:
