Description:Avesta Housing is seeking a Personal Support
Specialist (PSS) to work at our assisted living facility, 75 State
Street. The role of a PSS is to provide high quality care to the
residents of the facility that include personal care, assistance
with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of
daily living. About 75 State StreetLocated in the historic West End
neighborhood of Portland, Maine, 75 State Street is a nonprofit
senior community offering a continuum of care that includes

ready for this opportunity will have 1 or more years' experience
working within a similar role and meet the following
requirements:Excellent judgmentCaring attitudeDetail orientedGood
communications skillsStrong interpersonal skills
A Valid PSS licenseExperience working with residents in a personal
care environment preferred.Ability to meet facility and state
immunization requirements.Commitment to quality services and
treating residents with dignity and respect.Good written and oral
communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to
residents, family, staff, and outside facilities and
vendors.Ability to work effectively with others and portray a
positive, team-player attitude.Must be at least 18 years or

position that pays $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, plus any applicable
shift differentials. Day, evening, and night shifts are
available!Day Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pmEvening Shift: 2:30pm -
