CNC/LATHE PROGRAMMER / SETUP / OPERATOR

$30-$34hr T-P

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist Lathe Programmer/Setup/Operator.

Position Responsibilities:

Program, design setups, and specify tooling for various types of CNC Lathes which include twin spindle, sub spindles, live tooling and Bar Feeders.
Work solely from drawings/blueprints to produce CNC programs.
Inspect machined parts using various types of mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, Tessa height and optical comparator.
Responsible for accurate record keeping and timely submission of work documents to production planning.


Experience/Qualifications:

High School or equivalent; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience programming, setting up lathes with twin spindle, sub spindle, live tooling and bar feeders
Manual machining experience
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents and use inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds


Preferred Skills:

Basic computer skills
Forklift operation


Work Hours:
Monday through Friday 6:45am to 3:15 pm - Overtime as available
