CNC Milling Programmer- Solidworks, MasterCam, Camworks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Develops and proves out programs for the CNC equipment, generates tool lists / set-up sheets & obtains the required tooling.
Makes updates and edits to existing programs as required

Designs work holding fixtures using SolidWorks for CNC machining (custom jaws, vacuum fixtures, etc.)
Reads and compares NC file code used in CNC machining centers.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Minimum of 5 years' experience in the following

Programming for CNC machining centers using CamWorks and/or MasterCam 3D. Programming to CAD models along with pdf drawings and parts lists.
Understanding of hole prep for helicoils, keenserts, pem inserts, dowel pins, etc. per manufacturer and mil specs.
Understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing both GD&T and linear/ordinate
Basic computer knowledge with file management and organization working with windows, Microsoft office products, Adobe, etc.
Work holding fixture designing for CNC machining using SolidWorks.
Reading and comparing CNC file code used in CNC machining centers.



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
