Job Description:

Client is developing a prototype network solution for FAA/Air Force. Client developed the fundamental intellectual property and overall system architecture for the network.
This position requires an experienced software developer familiar with radio and network emulation to do system configuration and installation.
This also requires software development based on current open-source network protocol implementations.
A tool in this network test bed is Extensible Mobile Adhoc Network Emulator (EMANE), which is a software package that instantiates many military tactical data link systems.
All the testbed technologies reside on Linux machines, and the candidate should have extensive experience developing software for networked Linux systems.

Required Skills:

Software/applications: C/C++, scripting languages. Experience to include leveraging C++ standard libraries, templates, and other object-oriented programming techniques.
Experienced with Linux environment and setup.
Experienced with routers and switch configurations and programming.
10 years minimum experience in software design and development.
10 years minimum experience with IP network protocols and development.
10 years minimum experience in system integration field testing.
10 years minimum experience with SIP, RTP, ED137, and VoIP technologies.
5 years minimum experience with network emulation and modeling.
Experience working with EMANE software development.
Experience with software-defined networking.
Experience with network testbed systems.
Experience with network emulation and modeling.

Preferred Skills:

SIP, RTP, ED137 experiences are preferred.
Experience with virtualizations is preferred.
Bachelor's degree is required.
