The Surgical Technologist at Boston Children's Hospital is responsible for providing sterile instruments and supplies during surgery, organizing instruments, and assisting circulating nurses in maintaining sterile stock. Candidates must possess a certificate from a Surgical Tech program, have at least 1 year of OR experience, and be certified as a Surgical Tech, with pediatric experience preferred. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for:

• Providing sterile instruments to surgical team during surgery.
• Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
• Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
• Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
• Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.To qualify, you must have:
  • A certificate from a Surgical Tech program
  • 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Tech.
  • Must be certified as a Surgical Tech.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.**Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years). **
    
    **This position is eligible for a $10,000 Employee Referral Bonus for internal employees**
    
    **Additional $5/hour incentive for all hours worked after orientation is completed**
