Medical Assistant in Braintree, Mass.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position will primarily involve patient rooming, taking vital signs, and performing a variety of clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations in the office. The ideal candidate will be experienced with EKGs, ear lavages, and exam room maintenance, and have a strong knowledge of scheduling and patient communication. Experience with Epic is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:
Room patients and take vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure).
Perform EKGs and ear lavages.
Stock and maintain exam rooms to ensure they are clean and fully equipped.
Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
Manage patient messages and follow-up communications.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of basic clinical procedures, including taking vitals and performing EKGs.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients and healthcare professionals.
Experience with Epic or similar electronic health records system.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).
Experience with ear lavages and exam room stocking.



Certifications:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) (preferred).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred).
