Location:Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior LivingWe are hiring an Emergency Services (SES) Officer for our gated retirement community. These officers respond to emergency calls from residents or employees throughout the community.Emergency Medical training/EMT certification and BLS certifications are required for this position.Sign-On Bonus: $1000 (must have required certifications)Compensation: range $23 - $26 hourly commensurate with licensure and experience plus applicable shift differentialsSchedule: Overnights 7pm to 7amHow you will make an impact

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions
• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity
• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system What you will need
  • Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred
