TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Case Manager RN in Boston, Massachusetts, 02118 Pay Information $1,454 per week About The Position Job Title: Case Manager Job Specialty: Absence Management Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 hours Guaranteed Hours: 40 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: N/A Certifications: N/A Must-Have: High School Education Job Description: - Responsible for delivering best-in-class leave of absence, workers' compensation, and accommodation services. - Manage assigned caseload in coordination with the vendor to ensure a smooth experience for employees. - Track leave cases in accordance with federal and state regulations, and company policies and procedures. - Establish ongoing communications with employees, managers, healthcare providers, and agencies for thorough documentation of individual circumstances. - Develop appropriate plans for absence resolutions. - Navigate and respond to inquiries about leave, workers' compensation, and disability events, and options available to employees. - Serve as a point of contact for assigned staff to provide holistic case management services. - Work with the third-party administrator to adjust leaves in compliance with relevant laws. - Monitor, track, and maintain all records for work-related injuries and absences; prepare periodic reports. - Educate managers and business partners about employee concerns and needs related to leave or return to work. - Communicate updates to employees and stakeholders both verbally and in writing. - Ensure compliance with standard work, regulations, and company policy. - Maintain system records for accurate and timely information/documentation. - Consult and coordinate with various departments including HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and others as appropriate. - Utilize practice tools and company resources to support oversight of leave events. - Critically assess and adjust case management plans to meet changing employee needs. - Address issues and remove barriers before, during, or after a leave event. - Conform to organizational standards of performance and conduct to ensure excellent customer service. - Follow established infection control and safety procedures. - Respond to employee-impacting issues that may arise during the leave event and ensure appropriate communication. - Manage caseload efficiently, prioritize tasks, provide timely intervention, and maintain sensitivity to confidential records. - Flexibility to work nights and weekends. - Perform other duties as needed and directed. Leaves of Absence Support: - Assist in administrative processing of Leave of Absence (LOA) approvals. - Manage absence management email and process requests. - Run reports related to LOAs and educate employees and managers on the process. - Work with LTD/STD provider for wage replacement for staff on leave. - Coordinate and process incoming faxes and emails; perform data entry in relevant systems. - Verify eligibility for LOAs with third-party administrator. - Process notifications and provide support for absences and time off. Workers' Compensation Support: - Provide administrative support for workers' compensation. - Gather medical documentation and communicate with workers' compensation vendor. - Assist injured workers with questions or concerns. - Identify potential issues in a timely manner and alert management. - Educate managers regarding internal procedures related to workers' compensation. - Conduct audits and participate in meetings related to claims. - Ensure compliance and proper pay arrangements for indemnity leaves. 27241140EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Exposure to a variety of cases and healthcare environments improves your clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
