Remedy are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join our dedicated Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher who is passionate about both subjects and keen to inspire students to explore the fascinating world of human behaviour and society.Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Psychology and Sociology at Key Stage 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that stimulate student's interest and critical thinking in both subjects.
• Develop and assess effective schemes of work that meet the needs of all learners.
• Support students' academic and personal development through guidance and mentoring.
• Prepare students for their GCSE and A-Level exams, providing constructive feedback and tracking their progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages debate and independent thought.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share resources, ideas, and best practices.Person Specification:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Expertise in Psychology and Sociology, with a strong passion for teaching these subjects.
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology and Sociology is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in thought-provoking discussions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress.
