construction project management consulting services through our
in-house group known as Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS). With a

into maximum savings and quality.Acting in the role of Owner's
Agent, the Project Director is responsible for supervising project
management and construction management teams in all project phases,
including studies, programming and planning, preconstruction
services, design, procurements, construction, and closeout. The
Program Director is the team leader, responsible from initiation
through completion of construction. The Program Director is
responsible for staff mentoring, project management processes and
methods, stakeholder communications, coordination, and conflict
resolution to ensure project goals are consistently met.The
position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate
strong leadership, presentation, organizational and team building
skills, as well as a working knowledge of project controls, quality
assurance, risk management, budget management, time management, and
strong client service skills. The Program Director must be a
strategic communicator, an adaptable team player, with strong
presentation, time management, and problem-solving skills, plus a
solid understanding of the tasks and skills provided by the team
members they supervise. Night meetings may be required.Program
Director Required Qualifications:
- 10+ Years experience in a Project Management role managing
commercial and public sector projects of buildings ranging in costs
of $20 Million to $200 Million. Managing projects from initiation
through completion of construction, and responsible for leading
meetings with owner, architects, and providing leadership role in
client relations, directing and mentoring on-site staff.
- 5+ years working with a preconstruction team to plan projects
for success (e.g., procurement, logistics planning, scope reviews,
budgeting, value engineering, and costing).
- 3+ years experience managing the design process and
relationships between design and construction to ensure the
designer delivers quality, budget-conscious, and complete documents
on schedule.
- 10+ years of experience reading and understanding construction
plans, drawings, and technical specifications, and the
implementation of project delivery strategies in a Project Work
Plan.
- Experience with K-12 Projects in Massachusetts.
- Demonstrated ability to target and pursue additional business
with existing clients, and develop new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Architecture,
Engineering, or equivalent and 10 years of industry experience, or
equivalent industry experience of 20 years.Our Investment in you:
