Job Description:The Sr. Director of Accounting supervises the
global accounting team and oversees key financial processes such as
monthly close and account reconciliations. This position has
overall responsibility for the global accounting policies,
operations, and systems.What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Accounting
team, including general ledger, accounts payable, billing credit
collections, and accounts receivable teams. Responsible for the
monthly close process, account reconciliations, and department
KPIs.
- Work closely with the Controller to assume leadership of
projects including ownership over cash forecasting and tax and
treasury coordination. Will work on highly complex problems in
which analysis of situations or data requires working with other
departments and coming up with innovative solutions.
- Serve as the technical U.S. GAAP subject matter expert on
complex/critical areas.
- Responsible for consolidated financial statements including the
quarterly financial pack to the Audit Committee and Board of
Directors and ability to present financial statements during
internal monthly close calls.
- Liaise and manage Elite's external auditors, tax auditors, or
other 3rd parties and follow applicable regulatory reporting
guidelines and manage country statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and take a lead role
in enhancing current control procedures and processes.
- Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet
reconciliations, and analytics.
- Evaluate and continuously improve the NetSuite system for
greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive weekly cash flow forecasting in partnership with the
FP&A team.
- Establish and implement best-in-class tax and cash management
processes.
- Responsible for staff development, performance reviews, and
managing the Accounting team structure in alignment with the
Controller.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals
and objectives of the department/company.What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting management, with at least
4 years in software.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite and Excel.
- Familiarity with multi-country operations.
- Acquisition integration/purchase accounting experience highly
desirable.
- Proven track record in leading accounting teams for high-growth
software companies in a venture-backed or private-equity
setting.
- Successful track record of setting priorities; keen analytic,
organization, and problem-solving skills that support and enable
sound decision-making.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention
to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability
to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and manage
multiple priorities.Benefits:
