lead efforts in defining and developing technology products to
address complex research problems for investment professionals. You
will leverage your extensive software engineering experience to
create solutions that support portfolio optimization and enable

innovations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:Director Quant Development - Portfolio
OptimizationThe RoleAs a Director of Software engineering,
Quantitative Technology Development team, you will play a key role
in defining and developing technology products to solve research
problems for investment professionals and senior management
executives leading strategic Quantitative research initiatives. You
will distill abstract research-oriented problems to technology
solutions and execute them quickly. You will work closely with
senior executives, portfolio managers, analysts and researchers to
deeply understand experimentation methodology and enable faster,
better experiments using technology solutions. You will be
collaborating with other technology team members in a dynamic and
fast-paced environment. The Expertise & Skills You Bring
- 10+ years' hands on experience with software engineering
- Development experience using Python (Design, Develop, Test,
Debug, Deploy)
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (unit &
integration)
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- AWS cloud environment and understanding of CI/CD & DevOps
- Experience with numerical-analysis software libraries is a
plus.
- Experience with portfolio optimization and back-testing is a
plus.
- Object Oriented development experience, ideally with Python or
Java
- Experience working with SQL and PL/SQL on Database (Oracle,
Snowflake)
- Degree in a computational field such as Computer Science
- Focus on delivering customer value in a challenging
environment.
- Understand and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Strong knowledge of technology trends in implementing business

worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management,
Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. We are
seeking a Director, Quant Software Engineer to join our
Quantitative Research & Investing Technology organization. This
role will be part of our Quantitative Engineering team, which is
responsible for delivering & maintaining solutions for Quant
Research team specifically building out solutions for portfolio
optimization and back-testing.The base salary range for this
position is $103,000-$218,000 per year. -Placement in the range
will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic
location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.Base
salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on
the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may
also include bonus or other variable compensation. - -We offer a
