of the Publisher's Agent, join a team of dedicated Christian
Scientists focused on the accuracy and availability of Mary Baker
Eddy's works. This position manages the detail, delivery, and
customer experience for all digital and audio products of the Bible
and Mary Baker Eddy's published writings in all languages. In so
doing, the incumbent will substantially contribute to making the
Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's writings more easily available and
usable to a global audience.Responsibilities include overseeing the
Concord software study package, ebooks, audiobooks, and language
translation tools; proactively collaborating with internal
colleagues and vendors; and metaphysically supporting the Bible and
Mary Baker Eddy's writings.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all product-management aspects related to creating and
distributing digital and audio products of Mary Baker Eddy's
writings in all languages. Responsible for delivering an
outstanding customer experience with digital products, while also
ensuring the integrity and accuracy of her texts. (Products include
but are not limited to Concord, eBooks, etc.) (75%)
- As Product Owner on the Concord Scrum team, set the strategy,
schedule, and deliverables for the team based on customer feedback.
Work closely with teammates who are on point for technical and
marketing components.
- Direct technical lead's communication with outside developers;
serve as first-tier beta tester; coordinate informal group of beta
testers for additional testing when needed.
- Propose product enhancements that will drive additional
subscriptions and increased product exposure.
- Serve as point person for all marketing and customer service
initiatives, such as: in conjunction with Promotion & Design
Services Group (P&DSG) and Digital Services Solutions (DSS),
create and implement marketing initiatives in all categories and
languages available (Subscriptions, Read-only, Free Trials, and
Cancellations) such as email marketing journeys, Concord periodical
advertisements, website copy, training webinars, and more;
- Lead the work to continually update and improve the Concord
product website and associated Help Center, including creating help
videos and articles when needed;
- Plan and execute training sessions for customers, including
Concord webinars;
- Identify opportunities to engage directly with customers to
both improve their experience and to improve Concord; track
customer feedback, examine analytics stats gathered by specialists,
connect regularly with customer support team, and surface ideas for
feature improvements and bug fixes.
- Facilitate Publisher's Agent's approval of all TEI
updates.
- Oversee English and translated content additions and/or updates
to Concord.
- Work closely with CSPS product owners (Bible Lesson, JSH, etc.)
to identify areas where the products could mutually support or
benefit each other.
- With regard to digital products, represent OPA with internal
and external audiences (including the Christian Science Board of
Directors); make presentations and prepare written communications
as needed.
- Coordinate updates and improvements to eBook and audiobook
files, including their associated marketing materials, and their
distribution both on the CSPS online shop, and on other
industry-recognized platforms; monitor industry trends and identify
opportunities that will help align our product offerings with
industry standards; work with eCommerce and Product Fulfillment
Manager to track ebook sales.
- Represent OPA's English and translated digital products in
organization-wide strategy meetings on topics including (but not
limited to) audio, Amazon, and assisting Christian Science Reading
Rooms with digital product sales.
- With OPA's Translations Manager, determine priority for
providing technical/digital support for current and future
projects. (25%)
- Provide technical training and tier-1 support to confidential
contractors as needed.
- Research and propose solutions to ongoing gaps in technological
connections between print and digital file management.
- Propose updates and improvements to long-term storage and
maintenance of digitized translated manuscripts.
- Online Shop presence: serve as liaison between OPA and Reading
Room and Online Shop team pertaining to translated product presence
and accuracy on online shop for 100+ translated titles.STAFF

Directors.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation/ExperienceRequires a college
degree with minimum of 7+ years strong professional experience or
equivalent in a product management environment; technical,
marketing, and/or publishing experience a
plus.Knowledge/SkillsSpiritual discernment, humility, meekness.
Incumbent should have strong interpersonal skills, business acumen,
and the ability to effectively manage a diverse workload. Proven
written and oral communication skills and good presentation skills
required. Demonstrated competence managing multiple projects in a
first-rate fashion; must be good at setting priorities and
initiating and fostering strong working relationships. Ability to
maintain confidences.Demonstrated problem-solver who takes

must have strong word-processing skills (such as Google Suite).
Must be extremely comfortable with learning new technologies.
Experience with software development and/or testing preferred.
Experience with XML, TEI, ebooks, or other aspects of digital
publishing a plus; agile (such as Scrum), Trello, SalesForce,
and/or Jira experience preferred. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat &
InDesign, and/or the translation memory software MemoQ a plus.An
individual in this position should be comfortable in a highly
prayerful, fast-paced, and flexible atmosphere. This position will
work in the Publishing House in Boston, MA; little to no travel is
expected.Engagement with Christian ScienceMother Church membership
and Primary Class instruction are required.In compliance with
