Job Description:

We are partnering with an innovative company dedicated to transforming the way people connect and collaborate, and you have probably used this platform in your day to day.They are seeking a Manager, Security Engineering to play a crucial role in safeguarding their platform and ensuring the privacy and security of users' data. Reporting to the Infrastructure Director of Engineering, you will lead and manage a team of security engineers while driving the overall roadmap of security for the organization. This includes implementing security strategies that enhance the security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
• Identify, implement, and integrate foundational security tools and technologies to enhance corporate, infrastructure, and application security, in collaboration with internal teams.
• Develop and maintain security strategies, policies, KPIs, OKRs, roadmaps, and budget, working with internal teams to advocate for security and align on planning.
• Drive compliance with CIS, SOC2, and GDPR standards by leading security audits, assessments, and process improvements in partnership with internal teams.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and resolution, while maintaining and improving the incident response plan.Qualifications:
• Experience building and leading high-performing security teams.
• Proven track record of implementing foundational security measures and driving organization-wide security improvements.
• Passionate about protecting data, influencing security culture, and delivering measurable results in alignment with best practices and compliance standards.Location: Hybrid in Boston - 2-3 days onsite. (Open to remote work)Perks:
