more secure world.What you will learn:Industrial Engineers apply
advanced problem-solving techniques and Lean Manufacturing
principles to develop and optimize factories to maximize
throughput, efficiency, and value.Industrial Engineers are involved
in Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layout, Line
Balancing, Simulation and Process Modeling, Labor Performance
Analysis, Process Mapping, and Project Management.What you will
do:Analyze manufacturing system performance to identify undesirable
effects and opportunities for improvement.Calculate resource
utilization and identify throughput constraints.Apply Six Sigma and
Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate constraints, improve
efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery
goals.Create process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts,
spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show
manufacturing processes, the movement of material, the exchange of
information, and key metrics.Contribute to strategic roadmaps
focused on factory expansion, manufacturing technology insertion,
infrastructure improvements, obsolescence mitigation, and the
integration of new capabilities.Partner with project managers and
other functions to execute projects that modify the factory
footprint, change the layout of factory equipment, and/or add new
capability.Support competitive bids, factory proposals, business
case development for future investments, and Make/Buy/Where
analyses.Participate in factory safety and ergonomic
improvements.Qualifications you must have:Bachelor's Degree in
Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or related field 2 years of applicable industrial
engineering experience or applicable master's degreeThe ability to
obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is
required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance.Experience with CAD
softwareQualifications We PreferExperience with simulation modeling
and capacity analysisExperience with factory layout and work cell
design /optimizationExperience with project managementExperience
with CAD softwareSix Sigma principlesLean manufacturing

Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of

salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an
offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and
associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience,
location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may
be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical,
