Senior Director of Learning & Development, this position will work
very closely with Planner Sales Leadership and Wealth Planning
Solutions, as well as cross-functionally with our Client Services
team and Engagement Center to develop and deliver high-quality and
relevant learning experiences that directly support the business
objectives.As a Planner Development Coach on the Learning &
Development team, you will identify, design, develop and deliver
innovative, scalable, sustainable learning experiences that support
the performance improvement of our national financial advisor
team.In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are
looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team's existing
talents. For this Planner Development Coach role, we are seeking a
candidate with confirmed leadership and relationship management
skills. If you are passionate about sales development and owning
the learning for our Financial Planning organization, this may be
an opportunity for you!Responsibilities:
- Manage all learning programs designed to enhance the skills,
knowledge and abilities of EFE Wealth Planning.
- Engage as an internal consultant with leadership to identify
business initiatives and training needs to continuously improve
Wealth Planner performance.
- Train and provide direct coaching support for new planners
during their initial six months with the organization to ensure a
successful onboarding process.
- Sustain and improve performance by proactively identifying
emerging trends and creating action plans to improve
performance.
- Monitor new Wealth Planner progress, assess
time-to-proficiency, develop coaching interventions to ensure the
success of new Wealth Planners.
- Facilitate workshops, training programs, and leadership
coaching to improve Wealth Planner results.
- Design, develop, and deploy learning programs as necessary
using adult learning theory and innovative technology.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop
training content and quality delivery.
- Measure program effectiveness and recommend activities and
program strategies.
- Lead and mentor other L&D Coaches to enhance team
performance and development.Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8 years experience in sales training, developing learning
solutions for retail, contact center and remote/distance
learning.
- Previous experience as a sales trainer or program manager in
financial services preferred.
- Has a continuous process improvement mindset. Experience
performing gap analyses and process mapping.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and establish influential
relationships at all levels of the enterprise.
- Strong learning and interpersonal development consultation
skills with the ability to identify performance gaps, evaluate
knowledge gaps and design solutions to develop skills or transfer
critical knowledge.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and self-directed
approach.
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting
demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines;
plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks.Edelman
Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The
expected base salary range for this role nationally is
$100,800-$134,400. However, final base pay will be carefully
determined based on several factors, including responsibilities,
job-related skills, meaningful experience, geographic location, and
market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for
other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary
bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k)
