Provides guidance, resolves issues, and helps navigate the research proposal submission and application process. Responsible for budget development assistance, interpretation of sponsor requirements, as well as ensuring that proposals meet sponsor and institutional guidelines and regulations. Is expected to achieve Institutional Signing Authority and will support the highest complexity work.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Related Field of Study requiredExperience: 3-5 years of research administration experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database, accounting and other computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Good organization and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with large financial data sets with accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of research agency, sponsor and organization funding guidelines and policies.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
