Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager 1, will be part

of a small talented team of software engineers shaping the future user

interface for simulation design automation applications on the web;

evolving and enhancing web infrastructure and user interface

capabilities of Simulink and Stateflow graphical languages; keeping up-

to-date on the fast moving web technology landscape; working on the core

technologies to enhance Simulink and Stateflow UIs and extend them to

the web; participating in all stages of software engineering including

requirements specifications, architecture, design, implementation, and

testing; and taking ideas from concept to completion.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in

Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems and no experience.

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Computer Science or Information Systems and five (5) years of experience

in job offered or five (5) years of experience in development or test

automation of JavaScript-based web applications.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in UI design or testing using JavaScript,

HTML, AJAX and CSS; and developing web application communication

interfaces in human- and machine-readable formats using JSON and XML.

• Demonstrated expertise in development or test automation of web

applications using JQuery and Dojo third party libraries.

• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming -- C++,

Java, or Objective-C -- and programming in MATLAB and Simulink.

• Demonstrated expertise in the full software development

lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional design,

architecture design, implementation, and testing.
