Job Description:
Position: Software Engineer III (Product Catalog
Engineering) This posting covers multiple openings for the position
described. Duties: Build Software using PHP .Net and SQL to enable
Product Addition, Pricing, Image Manipulation, and QA Tools. Maintain
large product catalog (7 million+ items) and support the bulk-loads
and XML data updates from suppliers. Utilize web-based and native
Windows tools. Understands techniques for working with limited Network
connectivity in an occasionally connected environment compliment the
architecture and design of the software to support overseas offshore use. Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept
foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience
performing .Net, JavaScript and SQL design and development or, alternatively,
a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience as stated
above or, alternatively no degree and seven (7) years of experience as
noted above. Also requires demonstrated expertise developing back-end
and user interface components using object-oriented programming, .NET,
and compiled applications; connecting SQL with back-end applications
to extract data; developing front-end web applications using HTML,
Java Script, JQuery and CSS; performing SQL database design, advanced
query writing and optimization, performance tuning, designing schemas,
and developing code to extract data; performing version control
using GIT or SVN; interfacing with product managers to gather requirements,
and translating requirements into software architecture; and troubleshooting, performing root cause analysis and resolving
