Job Description:

Duties: Will lead the overall planning and success of technical projects.

Will contributes heavily to overall product architecture and translate high-

level business requirements into engineering specifications. Will liaise

between the director of Research & Development and engineering teams. Will

establish engineering plans and specifications for multiple product lines.

Will work closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to develop

and maintain product roadmaps and engineering timelines. Will develop new

and innovative products. Will maintain product launch plans. Will implement

cloud, Hadoop, mobile, and additional platform support into new and

existing products. Will drive Agile Development processes and methodologies

across engineering teams.

Requirements: Master’s degree in computer science, computer information

systems, or related field or related field (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience designing enterprise

architecture for information retrieval systems. Or, in the alternative, a

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or

related field or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 5 years of experience designing enterprise architecture

for information retrieval systems. Also requires: demonstrated expertise

(DE) utilizing Apache Storm and Apache Spark combined with named entity

recognition to feed indexing engines; DE customizing enterprise search and

publishing products via extensions and template modifications; DE

implementing and maintaining reverse index data structures, including

multiple 8+ trees holding terms, fields, and phrases, to support how

latency query mapping and visualization within Legal publishing; DE

writing and maintaining ISAPI web extensions as a gateway for publishing

and search solutions; and DE implementing index sharding across multiple

machines while maintaining efficient data ingestion and retrieval
